NDIS Readiness Workshops

NDIS Workforce Training for Senior Managers & HR Managers

National Disability Services (NDS) has partnered with WorkPlacePLUS to develop a training module that will support disability service providers to understand the overarching principles of workforce planning and capacity building required for their organisation in these constantly changing and challenging times.

It is expected that the significant increase in funding to disability service providers as a consequence of the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS), and the cultural changes in service demands, will place significant pressure on workforce needs.

Learning Outcomes

Participants involved in the workshop will be able to:

  • Understand the theory and foundations for developing a workforce plan, in context of the NDIS and the region that they are operating in

  • Demonstrate an understanding of how workforce analytics can assist your organisation’s decision making

  • Demonstrate how to use the workforce planning tool and workforce road map

  • Get an overview of available workforce resources

  • Future workforce profile: inspiration, getting ideas, opportunity to explore

Who Should Attend?

  1. Implications of the NDIS on workforce operations
